International Insurance Brokerage – spanrogram Review and PM Capabilities Assessment

Lost Penny Consulting was engaged to review a large complex program with multiple projects. This review measured the project progress against the baseline project plan and measured the progress deficiency against that plan. The review included an assessment of the project management capabilities of the key project managers charged with delivering the project. The final report included recommendations to recover the program.

Major US Life Insurance Comspanany – Worldwide Project Management Practices Baseline

Lost Penny Consulting was engaged to develop a baseline assessment of worldwide project management (PM) practices within the enterprise. We developed a structured, third party led, self-assessment that was executed through interviews with more than 80 project managers and executives globally. The participants included CIOs, heads of project management office (PMO) functions, project sponsors and project managers. The findings report set out an analysis of the data, a comparison of the data to aggregate data in Lost Penny Consulting’s database, our findings, conclusions and recommendations.

Major Canadian Life Insurance Company – Program Governance / Program Charter Development

A Lost Penny Consulting professional supported the Program Manager in defining an appropriate governance structure, including refining a responsibility assignment matrix (RAM), and drafting a Program Charter for a major initiative to upgrade key investment systems for its Canadian operations.
